Hand Tattoos

Yes, you may recognize the bird thing in the middle there. XD This is the full version of my character Caolan's hand tattoos. The birds represent the death transition (and in context, as they're more or less intended to be prison tattoos, they could represent transition from a normal life to one of a criminal), the spades represent (at least, according to something I read about Russian tattoos) thievery, and the knotwork/tribal designs are mostly there to take up space and/or look cool.

By the way, I spent TWO DAYS on this. XD And it's not even properly cleaned up. But I refuse to work on it anymore.

(And no, in case you should wonder, the hand outline is not part of the tattoo. It's to show where everything is supposed to go. I just traced my own hand, added knuckle wrinkles, tendons, fingernails and so on...)
